Concept
The concept behind Paula Cabral's work is the experience of a radical acceptance of the present. Her creative process is born from feeling and being, guided by emotions, the body and the environment. Thus, each piece in the collection becomes a unique and unrepeatable experience, reflected in a sensitive stroke. For Paula, art is not an end, but a means to live in the now, and the result is a sensitive abstraction that honours the moment experienced. The titles of her works, far from describing the image, evoke the intimacy of her process: what she has learned, what she has felt, what she has experienced.
