Concept
This piece arises from the union between architecture and sculpture, based on a project where plans and sections merge in a unique visual dialogue. Conceived as a form that can be engraved on a cube, it is inspired by the pure lines of Oteiza and Malevich's Arkhitektons. This work takes geometry into new territory by integrating curves that soften the characteristic trapezoids, bringing dynamism and warmth. The wood, worked with a sculptural approach, acquires an unexpected malleability reminiscent of Lizaso's constructions. The result is a piece that combines architectural rigour with a human touch, fusing the structural with the sensitive to offer a visual experience that transcends the functional and celebrates the artistic.
