Concept
Bèla Adler has the talent to capture the fluidity of movement with her camera. In this work, the photographer is inspired by the most emblematic metaphor of transformation: the metamorphosis of a butterfly. This image is part of a leaflet included in an autobiographical book project titled Delikat-Essen. The book talks about the loss of identity after an accident-trauma and how we can digest, transform and heal this through art. The image of the forest represents the threshold we cross when we die.
