Concept
Holding Memory is inspired by an appliquéd headdress originating in Abomey, in the former Kingdom of Dahomey (now Benin), renowned for its rich symbolic textile tradition. For years it hung in a corner of the artist's childhood home, ever-present but almost invisible out of habit. Over time, they began to see it for what it is. What was once part of the background became an important memory: a meeting point between personal history and inherited culture.
Be careful opening with a knife. Please keep the assembly instructions for future consultation. In case of return, the product must be disassembled and in its original packaging.

Sacrée Frangine is a French creative duo formed by art directors and illustrators Célia Amroune and Aline Kpade.
