Concept
This collection is inspired by Jorge Luis Borges' "Book of Imaginary Beings" and pays homage to the tradition of painting on Talavera ceramics, a craft historically linked to the work of women. Animal motifs, present in the popular ceramics of different cultures, are reinterpreted here with a nod to the mythology and legends of Spanish-American literature, and with graphic references to Beatus of Liébana. The author enlarges the format of these pictorial pieces and uses a high colour scale to bring new value to this tradition, reclaiming the importance of preserving the artisanal cultural heritage and making the feminine role visible in its transmission.
Be careful opening with a knife. Please keep the assembly instructions for future consultation. In case of return, the product must be disassembled and in its original packaging.
