Generally
The following Terms apply to all purchases made on this website, for delivery within Greece.
This website is managed by "LIFE CONCEPT FURNITURE AND RELATED PRODUCTS TRADE S.A.", with the distinctive title "LIFE CONCEPT S.A.", headquartered in Nea Erythraia, Attica, 10 Varibombis Street, (with VAT number 800530904, Tax Office of Athens), GEMI number 127795101000 and contact number (+30) 210 6635297, which is contracted as a seller (hereinafter "Life Concept").
It is the user's responsibility to be aware of the general terms of sale that apply at the beginning of the purchase process.
Life Concept may modify these General Terms and Conditions of Sale at any time. The modifications will not affect purchases made prior to the approval of said modifications, in any case. Purchases will always be governed by the General Terms and Conditions in force at the time of the purchase.
Please read the information of each product carefully to be aware of their specific terms, as these General Terms may be supplemented or modified by specific clauses or specific terms of certain products, especially with regard to rights of withdrawal, changes or returns.
The electronic document in which the contract is formalized will be archived by Life Concept and you can consult this website by authenticating your username and password or the means specified in each case. You can request a paper copy from Customer Service, and customer@kavehome.gr whose details are described in article 12 of the general conditions of sale.
By accepting these conditions, the user declares that he/she is of legal age and has the legal capacity to be bound by these General Terms of Sale.
Applicable law
This electronic contract is concluded in accordance with Greek Law and specifically as a distance selling contract based on the legislative framework imposed by Law 2251/1994, as currently in force, and the relevant Presidential Decrees, Ministerial and Joint Ministerial Decisions regarding the implementation and adaptation of Greek legislation to EU Law, Regulations and Directives. The electronic contract will not be filed by a third party and the language for its conclusion is Greek.
The current General Terms and Conditions can be saved and reproduced at any time by the user making a purchase through the options of his Internet browser and must be accepted before proceeding to pay for the value of the products.
User registration
To purchase Kave products online, it is not necessary to register as a user of the page ( www.kavehome.gr ). You can make the purchase without registering.
Registration as a user is free and must be done through the “Create an Account” tab on the website itself. At the end of the registration process you will receive an email confirming that the process has been completed correctly.
The user can access the registered users section with the username and password or by other means that allow Life Concept to authenticate the users. In his profile, the user can find relevant information, such as those related to previous orders or the provided shipping address. The registered user has the obligation to update his personal data, so that they are appropriate for the service of his contractual relationship.
The user can be deleted at any time by sending an email to the address: customer@kavehome.gr . Deregistration as a user entails the cancellation of the user's personal data.
Offer validity period
Regardless of the provisions of specific legislation, electronic offers or recruitment proposals will be valid for the period of time specified by Life Concept, or in the event of the expiry of this period, for as long as they are accessible to the recipients.
Purchase process
The purchase process consists of the following steps:
(i) Product Selection: Browse our site and click on the “Add to Cart” button whenever you wish to add a product to your order. The shopping cart contains the name of the selected product, the quantity and the price in euros.
(ii) Start the purchase process: To start the purchase process, click the “Complete Purchase” button.
(iii) Checkout Details: Before selecting your payment method, you must complete your purchase details and correct any errors in your data entry. Once you have verified your details, confirm your order.
(iv) Select Payment Method: Select your preferred payment method, accept the Terms and Conditions by checking the corresponding tab and click on the “Purchase” button. At that point, the sales contract will be completed for all intents and purposes.
(v) Purchase Confirmation: Once we receive your approval, Life Concept will issue a confirmation message on the screen which you can archive, which will contain the following information:
- Order number
- Order date
- Summary of the products included in the order.
In all cases, Life Concept will send a purchase confirmation via email within 24 hours at the latest of receipt of the purchase order.
Throughout the purchase process, you can consult the General Terms and Conditions of Purchase, as well as see the final price of the selected products.
Once the purchase is confirmed, the customer cannot modify or cancel the order except in the cases provided for by law or in these General Terms and Conditions.
Price, taxes and shipping costs
All prices listed on the website are in euros and include taxes and fees applicable to the Greek territory, despite the fact that the purchase of products from another territory may entail corresponding taxes and/or duties. Life Concept, using the banking details entered by the user on the website, will charge the final amount of the order.
Shipping costs will be broken down at the end of the purchase process, where you can select the desired shipping method. These shipping costs are fully borne by the user.
Before accepting the price through the “Checkout” option, you can see, if you wish, the final price of your order, broken down, the amount of any applicable additions or discounts, as well as the shipping costs, taxes, duties and other additional services.
Product prices may vary at any time, depending on Life Concept's pricing policy.
Products purchased will be charged at the price in effect at the time of purchase.
Payment
Users can pay the amount of the products purchased by any of the following means:
a) Through debit or credit cards.
b) Via PayPal.
c) By bank transfer
Life Concept guarantees that it will handle the personal data obtained through the registration form completed by the user with absolute security and confidentiality and as defined by the relevant legislation.
Invoice
A proof of purchase will be sent via email to the address provided by the user. Similarly, if the user wishes to receive an order invoice, then they must log in and access the "My Orders" section in their personal account. After selecting the order for which the user wishes to receive the invoice, they must click on the "Get Invoice" button at the bottom and enter the information required for the issuance of the tax document.
If the order has been submitted as a guest and therefore the user does not have a personal account, the user will need to create a new account with the same email address with which the order has been submitted and follow the steps explained above.
Surrender
Orders are shipped to Greece.
Home delivery is made from Monday to Friday. The user can correct any details regarding the shipment, as well as the delivery method, according to the options provided by Life Concept at any time.
The user will acquire ownership of the products in question once the agreed price has been paid in full.
If delivery is not possible, Life Concept is entitled to cancel the contract due to lack of compliance and without prejudice to the claims it may bring in the event of fraud or user error.
Life Concept will not be responsible for the condition in which the products are delivered to the user in the event of failure to deliver the order within the agreed period for reasons attributable to the user.
The user assumes responsibility for the products at the time of delivery and regardless of when they acquire ownership of the products. Therefore, Life Concept will not be responsible for any theft, loss, damage or loss of products that occurs after their delivery to the user.
Delivery responsibility
Life Concept does not guarantee the indefinite availability of the products and is exempt from any liability provided that it does not constitute a malicious violation by Life Concept or arises from errors during the unavailability of the telematic data transfer network service beyond its control.
Also, Life Concept will be released from fulfilling the delivery obligations provided for in clause 9 above, and disclaims all liability in this regard, in the following cases:
a) Full or partial non-payment by the user.
b) Omission or inaccuracy of the information that, in accordance with clauses 3, 5, 6 and 7, the user must provide when submitting the order.
Returns
11.1.- WITHDRAWAL
According to Greek law, the user has the right of withdrawal within a period of fourteen (14) calendar days, under which he can return the product he received without justification.
The refund of the purchase amount will be made once the condition of the product has been checked and with the same payment method used for the order and, in all cases, within a maximum of fourteen (14) calendar days from the irrefutable submission of the withdrawal request, provided that Life Concept manages the receipt of the product. In the event that the user returns the product via a transport company of his choice, the period of fourteen (14) days will begin from the moment Life Concept is aware of the shipment of the product or, in the absence thereof, from its receipt.
More specifically, in the case of payment via bank transfer, the aforementioned deadline starts from the date on which the user declares his intention to withdraw, as well as the IBAN of the bank account in which he is at least a co-beneficiary and the competent bank, in order for the refunded price to be deposited there.
Finally, in the case of payment by credit or debit card, Life Concept, within a period of fourteen (14) working days from receipt of the statement, is obliged to declare the cancellation of the card charge to the cooperating bank and to refund any amount that has already been credited to its account in the context of the order. Any costs of reversal, processing of the procedure by the issuing bank of the credit or debit card concern exclusively the relationship between the user and the issuer of his credit or debit card and cannot be claimed by Life Concept.
The return of the product is accepted only if the buyer has first paid any amount charged by Life Concept for sending the product to him and the shipping costs for returning the product. The user must return the products to the address specified by Life Concept at any time or, in the absence of such, to the following address: Nea Erythraia Attikis, Varibombis Street, no. 10, P.C. 14671.
The returned product must arrive in excellent condition, i.e. the returned product must have not been used, be in excellent condition ("as new"), exactly as before its sale, in its complete original packaging (box, nylon, foam, etc.) which must not have any tears or damage/alterations) and with all the contents of the original packaging (instructions for use, characteristics and guarantees, etc.). Otherwise, Life Concept reserves the right to charge a lower amount for the order, compensating for the amounts that the user must pay for the breach of the obligations set forth herein.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the user must notify Life Concept, at the telephone number: (+30) 210 6635297 or at the email address: customer@kavehome.gr , of his decision to withdraw from the purchase made, by means of a clear statement, by letter sent by post, by fax or by email: Withdrawal Form[EP1]
11.2.- DEFECTIVE OR DAMAGED PRODUCT DURING TRANSPORT
When the product has been damaged during transport, it is important that the user contact the company by phone on the day of receipt at the following number: (+30) 210 6635297 or at the email address: customer@kavehome.gr , and note it on the delivery note. Life Concept will cover the shipping costs for the delivery and return of the product.
If the user wishes to return the product with a transport company other than the one proposed by Life Concept and the transport company chosen by the user charges higher prices, the user will bear the difference in transport costs.
Before opening a product, the user must check that the packaging matches what was requested (model, color, size, finish, etc.), raising an immediate claim in the event of any discrepancy. If the user detects an anomaly before opening the product, they are asked not to break the seal or open the packaging and, if possible, to write "accepted with all reservations" on the delivery note and specify what the problem is.

Warranty
For all our products there is a 2-year nationwide warranty against manufacturing defects, except for those that state otherwise.
The warranty does not apply in the following cases:
a) Transportation, accidents, improper use and other damages not due to normal use of the product by the customer after delivery. This warranty only covers transportation damages caused before receipt of the product.
b) Transporting the product without the original packaging.
c) Burns, cuts, abrasions, dents, marks, scratches or other damage caused by animals or by improper use of the product.
d) Use or contact with chemical products (indicatively: acids, solvents, dyes, paints, ammonia, lacquers or other hairdressing products, etc.), treatment with cleaning products that are not suitable for the specific upholstery of the guaranteed product.
e) Color fading due to exposure of the product to sunlight or other heat sources.
f) Indirect damage and loss of any kind.
g) Personal and/or material damage, caused as a result of the user's non-compliance with the rules and instructions provided by Life Concept for the installation, use and maintenance of the product.
Force Majeure
Life Concept bears no responsibility for total or partial non-compliance with the obligations arising from this contract or for the delay in their execution, if such breach is due to force majeure, including but not limited to general, territorial or sectoral strikes, flood, fire, earthquakes, extreme weather events, pandemics (including but not limited to the COVID 19 pandemic, etc.), strikes, riots, decisions of competent Authorities that limit the activity of entities and services involved in the execution of orders and sales, etc.
Privacy policy
In accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and the regulations in force at any time, we inform you that your personal data collected through this document will be treated and incorporated into a file belonging to Kave Home SL and Life Concept for the compliance of the existing commercial relationship.
Kave Home SL and Life Concept will process your personal data for administrative and internal management purposes, for corporate management and coordination of the customer and potential customer database. The basis for communication is the proper execution and development of the contractual or pre-contractual relationship with you and the legitimate interest for corporate coordination and management of the customer and potential customer database. Also, if you expressly consent, Kave Home SL and Life Concept will process your data to send you commercial communications and recommendations based on your interests and preferences.
You can exercise your rights of information, access, deletion, opposition, purpose limitation and portability in accordance with articles 12-22 of the General Data Protection Regulation and applicable national legislation at the addresses mentioned above or by sending an email to the following address:

Likewise, you have the right to file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Authority ( www.aepd.es ) or the Greek Personal Data Protection Authority .
Personal data may be communicated to third parties without the consent of their owner, provided that such communication satisfies the need for the development, compliance and control of the commercial relationship and/or is limited to the aforementioned purposes, in accordance with the applicable regulations on this subject.
Consequently, you expressly consent to the processing of your data by Kave Home, SL and Life Concept for the fulfillment of the purposes previously mentioned.

Copyright
Kave Home, SL will retain ownership of all drawings, rules, drawings, diagrams, graphic material, photographs, design samples and other documents, whether in electronic media, in hard copy, as printing material or brochures that will be delivered to the user in the context of the production of products intended for it. Kave Home, SL retains all intellectual property rights for the documentation it provides to the user.
Invalidity of a term and applicable law and jurisdiction
If any of the clauses of this contract are invalid, voidable or illegal and in the broadest interpretative sense permitted by law:
(a) such a declaration will not invalidate the remainder of the contract, which will retain its force and effect, and (b) the invalid or voidable clause or clauses must be replaced or preferably adapted.
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by or construed in accordance with Greek law. In accordance with the provisions of EU Regulation No. 524/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 21 May 2013 and Joint Ministerial Decision 70330/2015, here you will find a link to access the EU online dispute resolution: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/main/index.cfm?event=main.home2.show&lng=EN which is directly connected to the competent independent Authority “Consumer Ombudsman” ( http://www.synigoroskatanaloti.gr/index.html ). In any case of non-conciliatory resolution of the dispute through the EU online dispute resolution platform or the independent "Consumer Ombudsman" Authority, the civil courts are competent.
