This piece is part of the Contextura series, where memory is explored as a fluid: vivid in the present but gradually fading in the memory. Here, the vermilion—a deep, warm hue—takes centre stage, symbolising family warmth and how a single tone can capture the essence of a feeling or those recurring events in our story.

Blanca Nieto, known artistically as Blannim, investigates the space between the visible and the invisible, fusing technique and concept in each of her creations. Her work revolves around memory and its impact on the perception of existence, constructing a plastic narrative where textile layers, weaves and transparencies are transformed into metaphors of time. Blannim structures her works in polyptychs. By joining several frames together, she generates unique images divided into multiple planes. Thus, each fragment dialogues with the others, evoking the way memories are fragmented and reconfigured in our minds.
