A design-centric office
Choosing one of our sofas is a sure-fire winner every time. And that’s not just because of the style it brings to your living room, but also because of the added value you get with each and every sofa we offer. We’d like to tell you a little about it. Ready?
Much more than a sofa
We pay close attention to every last detail in the process of creating our sofas. That includes the initial sketches, prototypes, choice of materials, production, quality tests, and the final product, all the way to your living room.
Almost all of our sofas are designed in Sils, Girona and produced in Yecla, Murcia, an area with a long tradition of furniture production, and home to some of the best craftspeople in the world who make each of our sofas by hand. Keeping production local allows for a more exacting quality control of the final product, as well as better working conditions, faster delivery, and lower CO2 emissions for a smaller impact on the environment.
Our designers work hand in hand with our craftspeople, such as cabinet makers, blacksmiths, and upholsterers, to perfect each part of the sofa: frame, padding, fabrics, materials, and the way it feels when you sit down.
A solid, durable structure
We want you to enjoy our sofas for a very long time. So, all of our structures are made from European pine with low formaldehyde emission boards (E05). This means that they come from sustainable forests with responsible felling, as well as complying with all European regulations, meaning that they emit less harmful substances. What's good for the planet is good for us too.
It’s what’s on the inside that counts
We fill our sofas with the best materials to give them that plush, appealing look. The filler is made from foam to provide firmness, acrylic fibres or wadding which goes between the foam and the fabric of the sofa to give them that inviting, rounded shape, and we're increasingly using PET fibres made from recycled bottles recovered from the ocean for the filler in our cushions. Check the sofa's description to find out a little more about what went into it, and how we integrated sustainability into its design.
Good quality fabrics
We choose our fabrics carefully to make sure our sofas have unique and exclusive designs. The most frequently used material is polyester, which makes for a durable fabric with long-lasting colour that doesn't fade over time. We also use cotton, acrylic, nylon, and PVC and blends of those fabrics to make sure you get the optimum mix of comfort, style, and durability.
