Superposición
Blannim
Concept
Superposición is memory understood as a layering of intertwined moments and events. The translucent fabrics allow glimpses of what lies beneath, evoking memories that, although blurred, are still present. The hand-stitched seams and darning reflect the traces left by experiences: marks and scars that define who we are.

Artistic technique
Edition
Blanca Nieto, known artistically as Blannim, investigates the space between the visible and the invisible, fusing technique and concept in each of her creations. Her work revolves around memory and its impact on the perception of existence, constructing a plastic narrative where textile layers, weaves and transparencies are transformed into metaphors of time. Blannim structures her works in polyptychs. By joining several frames together, she generates unique images divided into multiple planes. Thus, each fragment dialogues with the others, evoking the way memories are fragmented and reconfigured in our minds.
