The concept behind Paula Cabral's work is the experience of a radical acceptance of the present. Her creative process is born from feeling and being, guided by emotions, the body and the environment. Thus, each piece in the collection becomes a unique and unrepeatable experience, reflected in a sensitive stroke. For Paula, art is not an end, but a means to live in the now, and the result is a sensitive abstraction that honours the moment experienced. The titles of her works, far from describing the image, evoke the intimacy of her process: what she has learned, what she has felt, what she has experienced.

Paula's work stems from her desire to live in the present and be guided by her emotions and the space. She has had a passion for art since she was a child and has always experimented with different materials and creative forms, such as painting, architecture and jewellery design. Now, her work is more abstract and seeks to express what she feels at any given moment, without preconceived ideas, letting chance and what surrounds her and what she feels influence the result.
