A design-centric office
Koduz is an online interior design company. Using visual questionnaires they are able to detect your style to create rooms as relaxing and bright as the coastal apartment they have in Diagonal Mar.
This designer apartment could only be furnished in the Nordic style, since it’s owners identify with this type of decor, but at the same time, they wanted to reflect the Mediterranean spirit of Barcelona. The objective: to integrate two rooms, the living room and the dining room, into a single space. A proposal that at first glance might seem complicated, but the result is impressive.
The project focused on light colours, combined with Mediterranean tones such as blue, green and off-whites. The materials used are also a mixture of different textures, such as natural wood, velvet and fibres.
The stars of the living room are the blue Debra sofa and the matching pouf, with a 50s inspired style. These match perfectly with the Words collection, a set of furniture made from recycled pine that gives the rustic, handmade and Mediterranean touch they were looking for.
As a union between the two spaces, they have chosen the Bobly armchairs in grey. A very versatile piece that can be moved and placed in many different ways and according to the need. They also weren’t able to resist the Necoco wooden side table covered with coconut shell pieces.
The Koduz designers had a very clear idea. The dining room had to be near the windows to enjoy the view during meals. The Briva extendable table, with a bleached finish, is ideal for taking advantage of the light and achieving a minimalist atmosphere which gives out onto a picture postcard landscape. The Heiman chairs that surround the table have a wooden structure with a natural oak finish.
Without doubt, an apartment full of light and personality.

When you purchase a new furniture item, mattress, kitchen, rug or curtain, you pay an eco-participation, which is used to fund the recycling of your old items.
What is eco-participation?
Eco-participation is an additional fee added to the price of new bedding and furniture, paid by the consumer and transferred to Ecomaison.
Why?
It is used to fund the sorting, recycling, and repurposing of old mattresses and furniture.
How does it work?
Ecomaison implements collection and recycling solutions in partnership with local authorities, social economy organizations (such as the Network of Recycling Centers and Emmaus), and furniture professionals.
Since 2013, through this initiative, Ecomaison has already handled over 10 million tons of used furniture and bedding, preventing the landfill of waste equivalent to 1,000 Eiffel Towers. Previously, 55% of discarded furniture ended up in landfills. Ten years later, it's less than 3%. With 800,000 tons per year, Ecomaison is now the leading supplier of recycled wood in France.
Who is Ecomaison?
Ecomaison is a state-approved eco-organization that manages the sorting, collection, reuse, and recycling of household items and materials, from the foundations to the finishing touches. Its mission is to collect and repurpose household items and materials, giving them a second life by donating, repairing, recycling, or using them as an energy source.
