Interior II, part of the Tejidos Internos series, explores the hidden beauty of microscopic worlds. In this large-format piece, textures are boldly interwoven, creating intense contrasts and plays of colour in greys and pinks. Inspired by the physiognomy of organic tissue, the artist fuses the solid and the liquid, inviting the imagination to consider the microscopic in the organic world.

Regina Degiorgis Jiménez is a pioneering artist in the exploration of the limits between art, craft and design, with an outstanding career spanning almost 20 years. Her work, profoundly inspired by nature and its transformative processes, materialises sensations through installations, sculptures and objects that capture the connection between the micro and macro, the organic and biological. Trained in fine arts, performance and photography, Regina enriches her artistic practice with influences from her education in sewing at her mother’s side and her journeys through ancestral cultures. Her work reveals a constant dialogue between natural phenomena, the invisible structures that uphold them and the perpetual flow of matter in transformation.
