The Wild Forest Reserve is a rehabilitation centre and sanctuary for wild animals in Barcelona. It's a non-profit foundation that homes and rehabilitates wild animals that are unable to return to their natural environments.

At Kave Home we fell in love with this project and wanted to lend a hand by furnishing one of the areas used by both animals and the human team.

A rescue centre for wild animals

A cosy wooden hideaway surrounded by forests and meadows.

The multifunctional space comprises a nursing area and kitchen for feeding the animals as well as a welcoming area for work and rest for the Reserve's team.

A home where everything's been considered

For the refuge, the team chose sustainable Kave Home pieces that care for the planet.

Paola Calasanz, better known as Dulcinea @dulcineastudios, is the founder of the Reserve. She uses her considerable influence to raise awareness of nature and animals.

The cabin's must-have pieces

Nature has been brought indoors thanks to the Fantine and Chart chairs. Two pieces made from rattan, a natural fibre that respects the planet, it's waste-free because it's biodegradable. They're handwoven and add that cosy, rustic touch they were after. Put together with Sheryl chair they add colour and style to the place. They chose the terracotta design, another 100% handmade, on-trend piece.

The Alaia table and the Alaia bench have been put with different styles of chairs and are the main pieces of the dining room. It all consistently follows the rustic style and pieces have been chosen from our Kave Cares selection, that puts the planet first.

For the chill-out area the stars of the show are the Patio armchair and the Keren sofa with a dark grey corduroy effect. They chose light blue for the Patio armchair, a colour that creates a calming atmosphere for moments of relaxation.
